Critiques

In this photograph, there is a flooded town and a man on top of a car trying to help a woman out of the water. This was taken as the streets began to flood and the photographer saw an opportunity for a photograph. He then saw the woman holding onto a car door and she is about to get swept away by the flood. Then the man came and pulled her out of the water. I like how this image captures the fear of this woman. however the shadow of the right of the picture is very distracting to me. 

My first impression of this photograph is that it very nicely captures the word "believe". The dust in the image really adds to the feeling that the image gives off. There is very dull color and low contrast as well.
